What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our Contact form, we collect:
- Full name
- Company (optional)
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Service of interest
- Your message
We only collect this information when you choose to submit it — nothing is collected automatically as you browse the site.
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss potential consultancy, audit, or maintenance-support work. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in, and we never sell or rent your information to third parties.
Legal basis for processing
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information based on your explicit consent, given when you check the agreement box on our Contact form.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are stored securely on our own server and delivered by email to victor@vsconsultingtech.com. We do not use third-party marketing or CRM platforms to store enquiry data.
Third-party services
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our Contact form from spam and automated abuse. Turnstile may process limited technical information (such as browser signals) to verify you’re a real visitor. It does not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can read Cloudflare’s own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (such as which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay), so we can improve the site over time. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing behavior on this site. This information is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We use Google Search Console to monitor this site’s search performance and technical health. Search Console does not place cookies on your browser or collect personal information about individual visitors — it only reports aggregated search data to us.
Cookies
This site uses two categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary — set by Cloudflare Turnstile to keep the Contact form secure. These cannot be disabled, as the site cannot function safely without them.
- Analytics — set by Google Analytics to help us understand site usage. These are not strictly necessary and, where required by law (such as under GDPR/UK GDPR), are only set with your consent.
How long we keep your information
We retain enquiry submissions only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry, or as required for legitimate business record-keeping. You can request deletion at any time — see “Your rights” below.
